Who this policy covers

This policy explains how Goodridges Surveying Ltd (company number 16864554) collects, uses and protects personal data submitted through this website. Goodridges Surveying Ltd is the data controller for the purposes of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What's collected

When the survey quote form is used, the following information may be collected: full name, email address, property address, a link to the property listing, preferred survey timing, details of any planned renovation or development work and profession (optional). No payment or financial information is collected through this site.

How it's used

This information is used solely to respond to enquiries, provide survey quotes and deliver instructed survey services. It is not sold, rented or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. Form submissions are processed and stored via Netlify's form-handling service, which acts as a data processor for this purpose.

How long it's kept

Enquiry data is kept for as long as necessary to respond to the enquiry. Where an enquiry becomes an instructed survey, records are retained for the period required by RICS professional record-keeping requirements.

Cookies and third-party services

This site does not use marketing or tracking cookies. Google Fonts are loaded from Google's servers to display the site's typography, which involves your browser making a request to Google and sharing your IP address as a standard part of that request. No other third-party analytics or advertising scripts are used.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of personal data held about you and to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact Ell@Goodridges.co.uk.
